How do I book?
Preferably by email! You can reach me at savannatwiddy.mua@gmail.com, or by submitting an inquiry request on my home page.
When should I book?
I always suggest getting appointments on my schedule as soon as possible no matter what, so that you ensure you get the time a date you need/want. For bridal services especially, I will always recommend booking sooner rather than later, as prime dates book very quickly! Most artists suggest booking 12 to 16 months in advance.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Things happen out of our control sometimes, and I’m always happy to work with you on the rescheduling process! While any deposits are non-refundable, you will never be penalized for canceling individual, non-bridal appointments, as long as it is at least 48 hours ahead of time. If this timeframe isn’t met, I will require a cancellation fee equaling 50% of your booked service to allow rescheduling. If you cancel your appointment the day of your session without a record/proof of your cancellation reasoning, you will be charged 100% of your session cost and you will not be allowed to reschedule or book with me again until this is paid. What are your late policies?
If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, a late fee of $15 will be added to your due amount. I often run back to back appointments, and lateness can greatly affect the schedule I have set up for the remainder of my day, as well as the quality and timeframe of your own appointment. I always recommend showing up at least 5 minutes prior to your scheduled time. If you are more than 20 minutes late to your appointment, I will request that you reschedule your appointment and will require a cancellation fee to re-book. If you are late or cancel without appropriate notice more than twice, you will be removed from my books and unable to schedule future appointments with me.What if I need my makeup done like, super early in the morning?
Lemme get my coffee! Early morning appointments are typically no issue for me, whether at my home studio or on-site. An early morning fee of $25/hr per hour (including travel) will be applicable on any sessions schedule prior to 8am, wedding parties included.
Do you book appointments/weddings on holidays?
It varies! For individual sessions, my holiday availability is a bit more doable, depending on the day. For wedding parties requiring me to block off a significant chunk or all of my day, I am always welcome to discuss details, but depending on the holiday there may be fees attached. Please reference my Bridal Investment Guide to see which holidays fees may apply to!
Am I allowed to supply inspo pictures for the look I have in mind?
Of course! My biggest recommendation when looking for inspo pictures is to first look through my personal portfolio to see if I have done any looks in the past that fit your vision. This will enable me to do a better recreation, as I know exactly what products and techniques I used to create the look initially! But, if you’re unable to find what you have in mind from me, the next best place to look would be other professional makeup artist portfolios. Sites like Pinterest and the Instagram Explore page provide a lot of variety, but sometimes give a false perception of what makeup actually looks like on the skin and provide hopes for a flawless, poreless, airbrushed look that isn’t achievable for most people with very normal skin types and textures.I never wear makeup and would like to stay very natural. Is this possible?
Absolutely! During our consultation process, we will talk all about your personal style and what you are looking for in your makeup session. I work on all ends of the spectrum, and as long as you are happy with your look, so am I! :) I work with many clients who prefer lighter coverage and softer glams, as well as others who prefer a “full beat” to stand out. Please see my portfolio to see the wide array of natural glams I’ve done on myself and others, and I’m happy to answer any other questions you may have about different styles! At this time, I am not offering “partial services”. My rate reflects a full face makeup session, and while I am happy to do as little or as much as you would like, my rate is non-negotiable. Requesting to only have your base, eyes, lips, etc. serviced will not result in a discounted price. Can I pay for my session(s) in cash to avoid paying tax?
All payments are subject to sales and use tax, which is 7.5% in Columbus, Ohio. While I do accept payments by either cash or any major credit card, tax will be applied regardless of the payment method used.
Payments via check or any money transfer app, such as venmo, cashapp, paypal, etc, will NOT be accepted, no exceptions. -
I can’t find a babysitter :( Can I bring my child with me to my appointment?
I do not allow children in my home studio. While I completely understand and support how difficult it is to juggle appointments while being a parent, having children in my studio can cause unnecessary distractions that can keep me from performing my best, as well as making it difficult to abide by our allotted service time. Children also create liability risks for me as an artist and business owner. Try your best to find a place for the kiddos so you can enjoy getting pampered, distraction free!Teens 16 and older are able to attend appointments on their own, with a signed consent form from their parent/guardian. Any appointments scheduled for a teen younger than 16 must have a parent/guardian present for the duration of the session. Limit 1 parent, due to limited seating.

Can I book a bridal trial before signing a contract and being officially on your wedding books?
Your bridal preview session, or bridal trial as it’s commonly called, is included with your bridal party package. This is an appointment scheduled 1-3 months before your wedding where we will have some consultation about your skin, your concerns, the elements surrounding your wedding that might affect your makeup (time of year, inside vs outside ceremony, these types of things), and what you envision your bridal makeup to look like! So, in short, no, you cannot book a bridal preview before getting officially on my books. But, if you would like to test me out and see if we vibe/whether I can provide the quality of work you want for your wedding day, I would be happy to get you scheduled for an individual session where we can get to know one another! :)How do I ensure that my makeup looks as flawless as it can be for my big day?
Something I constantly tell my brides is that your makeup is only going to look as good as your skin does underneath. The best way to achieve a flawless, "airbrushed" look to your makeup is to consult with a licensed esthetician as soon as your planning process begins. Real results won't be seen with a couple of facials a few months before the wedding; a consistent skincare routine customized to your needs set into place 6+ months before your wedding day is one of the best ways to ensure that your skin is in top-notch condition for your wedding day. Other key factors here are making sure to wash your hands before touching your face, using products that do not clog pores, and staying hydrated leading up to your wedding day!My getting ready space at the venue won't allow us in until 9am but your timeline requires us to start at 7am. Can we start at a hotel and then move to the venue?
I do not allow moving getting ready locations once the services have begun. This is for many reasons, most of which being unaccounted for events such as traffic, accidents, car issues, blocked roads, or anything really that is out of control on both my side and yours. Not to mention the extra time required in order to pack and re-unpack my kit a second time. If your venue has a limited getting ready time for the bridal suite, please either accommodate your headcount for that allowed time or accommodate another space where you and your party can relax and get ready on your wedding morning :)This being said, my timeline is my timeline and each artist structures their timeline differently. I will not shorten my timeline to accommodate the schedule of a getting-ready area.
